従来のビーチサンダルは歩く際にかかとが浮いてしまい、機動性にかける部分が問題点だと感じていた。鼻緒部分に穴を開け、紐を通すことでホールド感を高め、サンダルが脱げにくくなるようにした。

Conventional flip-flops had a problem in that the heel floated when walking, making them less manoeuvrable. By drilling a hole in the nose strap and threading a cord through it, the sense of hold was increased and the flip-flops were less likely to come off.
